I own Amp'd Designs®, a brand and web design business based in Asheville, NC, in the U.S. I'm also the founder of Make Your Design Matter®, helping ambitious self-employed designers nail their processes, wow their clients, and grow their businesses. I help you ditch the “fake it till you make it” mindset and feel confident showing up as the capable, trusted expert you are. With over 8 years of self-employment experience, and over a decade working as a professional designer, I guide you to create a foundation for sustainable success.
We are a good fit to work together if you are self-employed, are an experienced graphic designer, are passionate about your work and clients, and are interested in building relationships directly with your own clients. ••• We are NOT a good fit to work together if you are an employee (not a freelancer), are looking for help applying to jobs or contract positions, are brand new to design altogether, are a student, are looking for a portfolio review or design critiques, or are just in this to make money quickly. ••• HOW IT WORKS: I love to start with a video chat to get to know each other face-to-face. Then, we'll use Voxer to check in and chat back and forth. You'll be able to chat me there through voice or text message any time. ••• Other fun stuff: Outside of design I enjoy cooking & baking, running, music, and experimenting in the garden!
