Hello! I’m Alyssa, a designer in Asheville, NC. After working for studios in NYC, I moved to the mountains and started my own business, Amp’d Designs. I work with small businesses & entrepreneurs on branding, web, & graphic design. Working for myself has been a great experience for me, and has provided awesome opportunities to hone in on skills in business, design process, client communications, networking, collaboration, and more. I’m incredibly grateful for the help I received in my startup days, and I love passing what I learned onto other who are starting their self-employment journeys.
We are a good fit to work together if you: • Are taking the leap to self-employment • Are an experienced graphic designer • Are passionate about your work and who you work with • Are interested in building relationships directly with your own clients We are NOT a good fit to work together if you: • Are brand new to design in general, or are a student • Are looking for a portfolio review or design critiques • Are looking to make money quickly • Are looking for help applying to jobs or contract positions Other fun stuff, my focus is branding, although I also work on web and general graphic design projects. I'm currently the Vice President of Asheville's AIGA chapter. Outside of design I enjoy listening to music, hiking in our little mountain town, and cooking & baking!
